Who said beaches were just for Summer? Auguste Abeliunaite models for the current issue of Marie Claire Italia, in the most decadent of winter couture I have ever seen by the seaside. An absolutely beautiful setting compliments the looks of Bottega Veneta, Gucci and Max Mara to name but a few. This seasons priceless rich jewels, lace bodies and darkened hues are offset perfectly against the bleakness of the imagery. I'm sure her beauty would fit right in around Blackpool do we not think?

The Greatest Show in Town...
Roll up roll up, Marie Claire's April issue contains a lovely spread of vintage circus memorabilia that makes me want to wear A-line skirts and skip into the big top clutching candy floss and toffee apples. There is a certain magic about old time Circus shows; eerie yes, but fascinating definitely. I've always wanted to run away and join a Circus, but as I unfortunately do not live in 1920s Tennessee I will have to make do with Wendy Bevan's recreation of the marvel that is the greatest show that ever came to town...
