I have just spent the best part of an hour pouring over these photos from Vogue Italia. Haute Couture is at its utmost best in this hauntingly fantastical shoot by Paolo Roversi. Atelier's such as Valentino, Chanel and Armarni (Who can spot the McQueen?) showcase their finest of the season on Kristen McMenamy and oh how she wears them like it were her own skin. Words cannot express the love I have for these dresses. Not one word.

Let's paint this town...
My goodness I need to move to a place where I can wear these outfits out. Give me beads, lace, fur, sparkle and a whole lot of people who will appreciate these tremendous garments to the full. Let's start a youthful rebellion.

Label Me...
I don't know if you will find this as irrepressibly fascinating as me, but these old Ralph Lauren tickets give me the goosebumps just looking at them. The texture and authenticity of them is amazing, and I bet each one has a story behind it.
Champs des Mars...
Camilla Akrans does it again - this time for Numero. Aren't those chain mail cuffs simply to die for?

Morning Beautiful...
Anything that involves copious amounts of draped tulle, silk chiffon by the meter and layers upon layers of frills always captures my heart. Vogue Italia always shoot the most breathtaking of garments, and this is no exception...

Enchantment...
Ellen Rogers shoots a magical queen of the forest scene for Tank mag. Kristine Drinke fits the part perfectly don't you think? I have never wanted a crown of thorned roses so much in my life.

The Unseen Sea...
San Fransisco is a city of astounding beauty. It was my penultimate stop on my travels up the west coast of California. I stayed in an rickety mansion hotel that teetered at the very top of a steep road, decorated with musty 1920s memorabilia and those metal lifts with shutters that you would have to heave back to climb into before it clattered you upwards to your room. One of my most treasured memories of the trip is, when having to get up early for various events of the day I would tiptoe back up from breakfast with my cereal and eat it sitting on the windowsill of my hotel room. Cross legged behind huge thick jaquard curtains, looking out over rooftops to the Bay Area I would watch the morning fog majestically roll in from the sea, engulfing everything in it's path until you could no longer see the seam where the water met the boardwalk or the boats rocking on the jetty. It is one of the most absurdly beautiful images I am yet to equal in my lifetime, and this takes me back...

Those in glass houses...
I mentioned this Dior shoot a few days ago and have been searching high a low since them for pictures of it to show you lovely people, so you know what I'm rambling on about. Here are the images from the collaboration with Chinese photographer Quentin Shih, ta da

Suno? No, me neither...
These guys have just hit my radar. For boardwalk pieces that make you miss summer by the beach, lollipops and sunglasses; they're doing rather well. For everything else, the jury is still out. Here are a few snapshots of their Spring '11 collection which features clashing prints with checks, floral jumpsuits and feminine tailoring. Nothing to complain about, so keep your eyes on Suno, I have a sneaking suspicion they'll only get better with time.

Trompe-l'œil...
Well Hello Preen, I am your love child, please adorn me with all your beautiful clothing. I have to admit the usual collections have never thrown me as much as this Spring 2011 collection. The husband and wife duo, who notably always look so content and down to earth when they emerge from backstage holding hands and shuffling down the catwalk, have created a stunningly soft tailored yet minimalistic collection inspired by a recent trip to Egypt. The 41 outfits could easily hold their own amongst the high rollers, fresh dreamy pales accented with mono looks, the more you pay attention the more you see going on. Delicately embroidered body panels and rounded waistbands, laced shirts and structured skirts with hems shorter than their separate counterparts. For me, this is the best NYFW had to offer, and it makes me very happy. The reasoning behind those darned awful fringed wigs however, continues to baffle me.
